    Job Description:

    As a key member of our Database (DB) team, you will support, administer, and secure our critical databases. This role offers exposure to various DB projects, including Administration, replication, Always-on/High Availability, Capacity-Planning, Data Warehouse, and DB design.

    • You will work closely with users from different parts of the business to define and resolve information flow and content issues.
    • Together, we will enable and support the transformation of business requirements into database solutions.

    This opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality work, expand your experience in working with the Microsoft DB/BI full stack, and move into a highly visible role.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of production database administration experience for PostgreSQL is essential, with exposure to SQL-Server administration.
    • Understanding of DB monitoring, analysis, disaster recovery, and performance tuning is required.
    • Experience in one or more database programming languages (PSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, etc.) for design, installation, maintenance, administration, security, backup, and recovery across production, back-test, UAT, and development environments is necessary.
    • Good attention to detail, testing, and documentation skills are essential.
    • Powershell/Shell script, Python, Ansible, and cloud DB admin experience would be beneficial.

    About the Role:

    This position requires a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
