  • 4 Month Fixed Term Contract

As a Customer Service Assistant (Subway), you will:

To provide an efficient and effective service to our customers, understanding their needs and requirements and continually working to exceed their expectations.


Working on a variety of tasks within the store to include but not exclusive to serving customers, making sandwiches to order and in line with customer requirements, replenishment of stock, cleaning and customer engagement to encourage membership to the Society.

Maintains high level of cleanliness and complies with food safety standards at all times as required by the society and the Subway franchise agreement


Supporting the local community by getting involved in fundraising for local charities and groups as part of the regional community activity.


About You:


  • Provide excellent face to face customer service by adopting an approachable and friendly manner, taking pride in satisfying or exceeding our customer's expectation and experience.
  • Making sandwiches to customer specification and ensuring that sandwich products are readily available whilst minimising waste.
  • Have a good understanding of the menu and be able to offer guidance to customers sharing knowledge of the different options, and be able to offer advice on any specific dietary requirements
  • Passes in English and Maths (GCSEs or A' levels).
  • Confident in interacting and engaging with customers, showing a genuine interest in their needs and build a good rapport
  • Ability to work within a team and on own.
  • Be able to offer flexibility in hours if able to do so
  • Previous food safety / handling experience desirable
