Cover Supervisor Needed - Full-Time Role Starting ASAP


Zen Educate is partnering closely with a secondary school in Plymouth to recruit a dedicated cover supervisor for the upcoming academic year.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of £95 - £100 a day.


Start date - September 2023

About the Role:


As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for covering KS3 and KS4 lessons in a secondary school located in Plymouth.

Your main duties will include managing classroom behaviour and delivering pre-planned work provided by the absent teacher.

Understanding that students can become easily distracted and disengaged in the absence of their regular teacher, your role as a cover supervisor is to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel engaged, happy, and supported in completing their assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Supervising and overseeing work set in accordance with the school's policies
  • Collaborating with teaching staff regarding the work set for each class
  • Managing student behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment
  • Addressing student inquiries about processes and procedures
  • Handling any immediate problems or emergencies in adherence to school policies

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£95.00-£100.00 per day
