Locum Band 6 Community Physiotherapist - East London
IMC Locums are the new age healthcare agency, we pride ourselves on delivering healthcare recruitment better.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in East London. They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Community experience.

We are seeking Band 6 clinicians (OT or PT) to join Integrated Discharge Hub (IDH) in Tower Hamlets.

The IDH is a joint health and social care service, aimed at facilitating discharges from the acute setting, based on the home first principle.

The cliniciansin the team act as discharge planning experts and support the transition from hospital to home; case managing patients with complex needs from the point of referral to discharge.


The multidisciplinary team works closely with colleagues in acute and community settings and from May 2021 will be based at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

Patients are supported to leave hospital as soon as they no longer meet the criteria toreside in the acute setting.

This is an opportunity for you to develop your discharge planning skills under an exceptional leader/mentor and a team of supportive clinicians who will assist you succeed in the role.


If you have extensive knowledge of discharge planning, or willing to be trained, thrive within a fast paced environment and are creative in finding solutions, we would love to hear from you.


Position Requirements

  • HCPC Registered
  • 3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible
  • Full time hours (Monday
  • Friday)
  • Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
  • Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Community setting.
