Description

We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working Wash bay Yard Operative to join our team based in our Longcroft Depot.

Working as part of the depot-based operations team, you will be supporting our depot operations by preparing our mobile welfare fleet / modular accommodation for hire.

You will be responsible for all asset preparation, as well as completing any supporting paperwork.

All preparation work must result in an asset that is fit for hire and is aligned to LOC Hire standards.

You will carry out your duties whilst adhering to and helping to achieve our HSE initiatives. All activities are to be undertaken in a safe and professional manner.

Main responsibilities:

Prepare mobile welfare for hire
Pressure/ steam clean all accommodation and welfare units
Remedy any minor repairs to hire stock
Occasional driving /towing
Identifying damage to the relevant personal at head office where appropriate
Maintain Records of any works completed
Vehicle loading

Skills/Knowledge:

Ability to work on own initiative
Planning and organising
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing)
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department, or line of business.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
