Our client, an NHS organisation based in the East of England is seeking to recruit an Interim Head of Recruitment and Workforce Planning for an initial 6-12 months.
The role will be hybrid working.Key responsibilities
Lead and line manage department leads ensuring they are engaged, understand the direction and vision of the Trust and the aims of the service and strive to provide high quality services to our customers.
Deputise for the Deputy Director of Workforce as required and to provide support and cross cover to other senior workforce colleagues.
Lead recruitment and be a key collaborator in retention initiatives with the aim of improving services offering better and more comprehensive services to the Trust.
Act as the organisational expert in the use of recruitment, retention initiatives and to lead on workforce planning requirements, both internally and working collaboratively on ICS submissions.
To manage and lead the provision of a high quality, responsive and comprehensive recruitment service for the Trust. Ensuring the provision of pro-active and customer friendly recruitment solutions. Working in partnership at both place and system levels.Ensure compliance with national guidance and appropriate employment law.
Commission and provide reports for managers to assist with informed decision making regarding workforce planning.
Requirements:
MCIPD Registration.
Extensive knowledge of Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions.
