    Project Document Controller in Cardiff

Working alongside the project delivery team, engineers, managers and key stakeholders you will be the main point of contact for all documentation configuration management requirements.

You will ensure best practice compliance activities are performed within a fast moving, dynamic, delivery focussed environment.


You will be responsible for:

  • End to end configuration control of all draft, shared, published and archived project documentation
  • Ensure established standards on document naming conventions and use of online document repository are met
  • Review incoming and outgoing documents for compliance to requirements
  • Day to day management of Master Document list and online document repository
  • Managing user permissions
  • Facilitate and manage the document review and approval workflow processes
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records of all project documentation
  • Provide thorough QA checking of all documentation
  • Management of all incoming and outgoing project documentation and correspondence
  • Creating master document templates when required
  • Producing status reports and KPIs as required
  • Delivering training on documentation configuration management process for new starters and stakeholders
  • Ensure site based document management activities are carried out in accordance with approved processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with project team, stakeholders and senior management and work as a collaborative member of the team
  • Continuous improvement of existing document control practices currently in place and conduct regular document reviews and audits

Skills, Experiences and Qualities Essential:

  • 2 years + experience in similar role
  • Methodical approach with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, 365 and SharePoint

Desirable:
Knowledge of project management methodology


Benefits:


Holiday Allowance - starting at 25 days per annum then increasing to 26, 27 and 28 after completing 3-, 5- and 10-years' service, plus the 8 Statutory Bank Holidays.


The company closes for the week between Christmas and New Year and use 2-3 days from the employee allowance to cover these days.
