Wood is recruiting for a Technical Assistant join its consulting team focusing on a full-time staff basis.

The Role


This role will provide support to the Integrity Management team in the UK both from an administrative and technical point of view.


Involvement in ongoing and new projects will be part of this position, working with the engineering team and lead to identify any improvements to task execution to ensure that the team are working efficiently.

Typical responsibilities

  • Assisting with the retrieval and collation of technical and operational data
  • Assisting with the development and population of Asset Registers
  • Assisting with the compilation of Written Schemes of Examination
  • Assisting with the completion and issue of inspection work packs
  • Assisting with the development of asset integrity management documentation and reports
  • Supporting the preparation of inspection and maintenance routines
  • Assisting with management of information and maintaining databases

  • Ability to work in a team, establishing relationships with appropriate stakeholders
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn and progress within the role
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Teams
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Desirable:


  • Proficiency in the use of CAD
  • Experience in a similar role
