HYBRID WORKING - Employment Law Advisor
Location: 2 days near Edinburgh, 3 days home. Brilliant employer, excellent benefits, great work life balance

Salary up to £36k depending upon experience

Hours - Monday to Friday

Benefits - 25 days holiday, pension, health scheme plus much more


Role overview

  • To provide high quality advice and legally compliant documentation to your clients
  • Advice and guidance on a wide range of HR/Employment Law topics
  • To make sure all advice to clients is timely, efficient, accurate, practical, and commercial.
  • To liaise with employee representatives in respect of early conciliation and associated
issues.

  • To help clients to achieve their commercial objectives,, whilst complying with the law or
clearly advising on the consequences of none or partial compliance where this is being
considered by the client.

  • To occasionally undertake external client training as required.
  • To occasionally deliver training for paralegals/trainees.
  • To undertake litigation and/or HR consultancy work as required.
  • To assist with core advice work as and when the need may arise.
  • To participate in the out of hours advice rota as agreed.

What experience/qualifications you'll need?

  • Either a qualified legal professional (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) or relevant equivalent
  • HR/ER qualification or experience.
We can consider a newly qualified legal professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a trainee/paralegal.
