Description

Assistant Accountant duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare management accounts, monthly reports, and annual financial statements
  • Liaise with external auditors and clients
  • VAT returns
  • Liaise with external parties to achieve client objectives
- regulatory and ad-hoc reports.

  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure invoices are coded correctly
  • P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels

Assistant Accountant desired experience and skills:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Partqualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), or equivalent
  • Good understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Fluent MS office skills, especially Excel
  • Experience using accounting software is desirable
