Role Overview

Job Title:
Refuge Worker**
Location: Southwark, London


Salary: 28,104 per annum


Contract type:
Permanent


Hours:
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week


Responsibilities


In the role the key responsibilities will be to support victims of domestic violence and their children by collaborating with them to provide safe accommodation, ensuring that they have access to all options and services while also ensuing that they understand their rights.

The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to women and children in crisis. This includes enabling women to access housing, welfare, benefits, and legal advice.

A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that women are provided with a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge's philosophical principle.
