The post will be a hybrid working arrangement predominantly from home with the Directorate office day(s) in the Tooley Street offices in London Bridge.


The postholder must have strong leadership and management skills and experience to be able to translate national policy into project delivery with measurable outcomes that demonstrate improvement.

You will need to ensure the onward evolution of Primary Care digital transformation programmes supporting borough level digital strategies by promoting innovation and supporting operational excellence across different organisations and programmes.

This will include ensuring sustainability and change management to ensure long term embedded change for GP practices and patients.


The postholder will have an agile approach to programme delivery with good problem-solving skills, working collaboratively with the six SEL boroughs to lead a small team delivering and co-ordinating complex projects across multiple GP Practices within SEL, aligning to local, regional and National strategies.


The postholder will also need a background of effective change management, particularly for overseeing the digitising social care programme, ensuring deliver of national and locally set targets for the projects and ensuring benefits realisation.

They will be responsible for building effective working relationships with NHS borough colleagues and Local Authority colleagues and other stakeholders to determine project objectives and strategic delivery.

There is responsibility for budget management and all programme reporting within the ICB and externally to accountable partners.


The South East London Integrated Care System (ICS) brings together the health and care partners that serve our vibrant and highly diverse populations resident in the London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Greenwich - our Places.


Our partnership brings together six local authorities, over 200 general practices (operating within 35 Primary Care Networks), Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital NHS FT, King's College Hospital NHS FT, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, South London and the Maudsley Mental Health FT and Oxleas FT.

Our ICS is a 'system of systems' and the Integrated Care Board (ICB) that supports it will work with partners that come together as Collaboratives for acute physical and mental health care; and as Local Care Partnerships (LCPs) that provide multi-agency leadership to the development and delivery of borough focused care.

The ICB will relate to and work with residents and the bodies that serve them at neighbourhood, borough and south east London wide levels.
