Exam Invigilator Required for Secondary Schools:

Xcelerate Academy is seeking an Exam Invigilator to join and support our partnered secondary schools across the East Midlands area during examination periods.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a pivotal role in creating a conducive environment for both written and online examinations, ensuring a smooth and fair conduct of the exams.

Role and Responsibilities:

Supervise pupils during examination periods, ensuring adherence to examination rules and regulations.
Create and maintain a calm and controlled environment conducive to exam conditions.
Assist in the setup of examination venues, including arranging seating and distributing examination materials.
Collect completed examination papers and ensure their secure submission to the appropriate authorities.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the examination process.

Requirements:

Valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred but not essential.
Enhanced DBS
Must be eligibile to work in the UK
Previous experience in invigilating examinations is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a highpressure environment.
A collaborative and adaptable approach to work.
Willingness to work flexible hours based on the examination schedule.
