Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for an Ambitious Town Planner to join the UK's leading Enabler of custom-build and self-build housing projects

Key Responsibilities

Assessing the suitability of sites from a planning policy perspective
Engaging with local planning authorities and clients
Feeding into the preparation of Design and Access Statements and Design Codes
Preparing development plan representations
Monitoring development plans
Building strong working relationships with other departments in the business, in particular urban design, architecture, and the team of development coordinators
RTPI membership or working towards chartership
Previous experience in a similar role, either public or private sector
Understanding of planning for housing policy
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to negotiate
