Training Team Leader (Automotive)

We're looking for a Training Team Leader to effectively lead and manage training delivery operation that meets Toyota Academy objectives and achieves KPI targets.

You'll oversee the management of the team of trainers, ensuring high-performance standards andpersonal development.

Whilst this is a team leader role, there is an expectation that you will deliver training on a weekly basis, with the aim of this being split equally.

However, we operate in a rapidly changing environment so this will vary week-to-week.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for daytoday operational delivery of nontechnical training
  • Acting as the principal daytoday contact for both the Client, the Programme Manager, and the training team
  • Identifies efficiencies, better ways of working and recommends key measures and processes that need to be put in place to improve the daytoday operations of the team and the quality/consistency of the training delivery
  • Supporting the Programme Manager in planning and rolling out project work to support the needs of the Client
  • Researches, investigates, and determines future training requirements in line with Client key goals and strategy, particularly in relation to new and emerging training delivery options and technology to deliver training
  • Deliver nontechnical training and development programmes to Toyota and Lexus Centre Staff (Sales & Aftersales) through established curricula offering an engaging learning experience

You'll need to have:


  • Proven experience as a soft skills trainer.
  • An understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • A willingness to keep abreast of new training techniques.
  • Proficient IT skills in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint and Word).
  • Great communication and presentation skills.
  • Organisational and time management abilities.

Contract Type:
Permanent (Hybrid)

Hours:
Full time, 37.5 hours per week


Salary:
£50,000.00 per year
