MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join a housing association based in Surrey.

My client have stock in the Surrey & Sussex areas. This will be a fully remote working role.

This will be an interim position paying £30 - 35p/h Umbrella.

Role Purpose:

The Building Surveyor will carry out validation inspections of properties that have been included in the Council's stock condition survey programme (currently carried out by consultants) assess the accuracy of information such remaining life of key components e.g. kitchens and bathrooms.
Carry out HHSRS inspections and demonstrate an understanding of assessing the categories of risk.
Carry out stock condition surveys independently and upload results on the council's database.
Carry out adhoc surveys of properties as required and prepare reports with diagnosis of defect cause and recommend remedial action.
Prepare specifications/scope of works for small projects up to an estimated value of £100k that may include, but not limited to, damp & mold, building repairs, window renewals and security works.
Ensure projects meet all CDM and Health & Safety requirements from conception to completion.
Instruct and liaise consultants as necessary on more complex schemes.
Use technical knowledge and ability to assist the Asset Lead, Programme Manager and Sustainability Manager as required
