Description
We are currently recruiting for two Reporters to join our Cardiff team.

We are looking for people who are ready to make their next big move in journalism and hunt exclusive news and big interviews.

Our readers are the biggest names in investment management.

You will be expected to quickly scan our mountains of information from investor meetings and filter for exclusive, important news.

You will need to scour regulatory filings across the globe to understand the latest fund launches and strategic changes at key investment shops.

You will be expected to hit the phones and contact investment management firms to mine them for information, uncover secrets and interview senior executives.

The role will involve writing about European and US investment management firms.

Based in Cardiff, you will be working as part of our team of more than 70 asset management journalists across the globe.

The private markets team is growing rapidly and a key priority for strategic growth. Financial journalism experience is not essential but preferred. We work under a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days at home.


Responsibilities:


  • Writing daily news articles and regularly breaking offdiary stories
  • Pitch and write informed and insightful investigative pieces
  • Regularly interview key business names in private markets
  • Build and maintain a contact book of senior industry professionals
  • Represent the With Intelligence brand at a range of events, conferences and summits

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in B2B journalism
  • A successful track record of reporting exclusive stories, preferably in financial journalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn
  • Ability to interpret and extract data from multiple sources
  • Ability to build relationship with industry names and experts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
