Here at South Thames College, we are seeking a Lecturer to teach across the Construction provision with a specific focus on Electrical Installation.

You will achieve excellence in teaching, learning, assessment, and creative innovation.


Producing module study guides and schemes of work, you will monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification, and liaise with external verifiers / moderators as required.

You will be responsible for the awarding body requirements and for ensuring programmes of work are conceived and delivered in ways which meet the needs of individual learners.


We'd also like you to hold a Level 3 Assessor qualification and have proven experience in the Electrical industry, installing systems and equipment in a wide range of environments.

You'll be up to date in terms of technologies within the construction industry and be able to adopt different methods and strategies according to individuals' learning abilities.


The salary will include a £10,000 uplift if the post holder holds a relevant Level 3 NVQ Electrotechnical qualification and is registered with the JIB as 'Approved Electrician' status or Eng-Tech status via the IET. In addition, you should have achieved a relevant recognised Level 3 assessor qualification e.g. TAQA.
