  • Hours: Full school day 31.25 hours per week (8.30am to 15.15pm with half hour lunch break).
  • Term time only plus INSET.
  • Start as soon as possible.
  • Pay range: NJ Grade 6 (£23,194 fte, £16,726 pro rata) plus Crawley Weighting

What we are looking for someone with passion and who aligns with our school vision and values of curiosity, courage and equity with a clear understanding of how to provide high quality, well planned support and guidance to Pupil Premium (PP) children and their families in order to promote high expectations, increase attendance, raise aspirations and support academic progress who can develop and maintain effective partnership working with parents/carers with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children with exemplary communication skills who can liaise between teachers and parents/carers to ensure that, as a team, all those that play a part in supporting children to understand any barriers and share strategies between them for optimum learning and life success who thrives on being a member of a passionate and professional team with has a relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent who is ambitious for children and themselves.

Your key responsibilities will include ensure all PP children have good attendance and have a good knowledge of attendance procedures making regular, meaningful contact with each PP child and their family gain 'the voice of the child', and have an up-to-date knowledge of each PP child's state of well-being and any barriers to engagement with learning provide consistent support to PP children responding appropriately to individual child's needs to promote self-esteem and independence work with parents/carers to identify, understand and meet their child's needs and promote positive outcomes for their child work with the school and other agencies to use and signpost to resources to tackle barriers be able to understand and work with school assessment and approaches to tracking progress have up-to-date knowledge of enhanced safeguarding and safeguarding procedures liaise with class teachers and other relevant staff - being the bridge between school and home, to ensure all staff have access to information that will support childrens' learning (including missed learning) and welfare ensure children are equipped for learning on a daily basis What we can offer a school with a clear vision, purpose and values opportunities to develop your own career a creative and exciting working environment the opportunity to make a positive contribution to our children and society a commitment to wellbeing-
