Here at Xander Doors we're looking for a motivated CNC Machine Operator to come and join our team.

You will be programming and operating our 5-axis CNC machine. Ideally, we would like someone specifically with experience using timber and experience using G-code is a must.

We need a team member with strong communication skills and attention to detail, a self-starter who can work on their own initiative, and will be comfortable working in a team.

Key Duties

• Work as part of a team in a busy production area
• Help to maintain a positive working environment which will promote and maintain good working relations and morale.
• Produce quality products in line with customer demand
• Always maintain good housekeeping standards
• Act in a safe manner in line with the Company's Health, Safety & Welfare Policy
• Follow all company Policies and procedures
• Work according to any training or reasonable instructions given
• Pay attention to detail
• Perform any other duties reasonably required to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Good communication skills between colleagues and management
• Respectful to visitors and other thirdparties you encounter as part of your work
• Must be flexible as employees may be rotated on jobs
• Operate various machinery including Continual Cycle Press, Edge Bander, Calibrating Sander, Cross Cut Saw, CNC Machine, various hand tools and calibrated equipment.

We'd ideally like you to have some experience operating CNC machines, however if you've got machine shop experience/ machine maintenance experience, then we'd like to hear from you, too


Working Hours

• Your normal hours of work will be 40.00 hours per week Monday-Friday between However, some flexibility may be required to ensure appropriate cover between 06.00 and 20.00.
• Overtime will be available and will be paid once you have worked 40 hours within a weekly period.
