Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages to customers following established recipes and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including operating a cash register and processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service, adhering to legal drinking age requirements and identifying intoxicated individuals
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers seated at the bar
• Assist with catering events as needed, including setting up and serving beverages

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and various types of alcoholic beverages
• Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patrons
• Familiarity with food handling safety guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry

Note:

Retail math knowledge is not directly applicable to this role, so it is not included in the requirements section.

However, basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
£9.00-£11.50 per hour
