UQR (unqualified teacher)/MPR (qualified teacher)
Hours per week: 1 (evening) Term time only

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to teach music and musicianship in an ensemble setting and to contribute to the growth and development of the Music Centre under the direction of the Operations Manager and the Music Service Manager.
You'll teach music skills through ensemble work, as agreed with the Operations Manager and Music Service Manager, and guide each pupil to develop to the full their musical skills and technical proficiency.
To enrich the education of each pupil through the provision of appropriate musical experiences and to provide skills that will stay with them throughout their school years and beyond.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have experience of teaching the full range of percussion effectively, including orchestral, tuned percussion and world music.
You must have demonstrable knowledge of technique and repertoire of orchestral percussion, drum kit and at least one world music discipline.
