Network/Relationship Manager for a
9-monthcontract, based
hybrid in London.
NatWest are a major UK retail bank, providing every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.


Purpose of the role:

To be responsible for Agent Bank and nostro relationships for the bank.

Working within a team of network managers across all Customer Segments/Brands for all products covered:
cash, securities, collateral, and treasury.


To liaise with all the Service Providers to ensure that they meet the needs of the businesses, our customers, and ensure regulatory compliance.


This is a relationship management role and not a technology role.

As a Network/Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with external Agent Banks and nostro relationships on change requests, executing legal agreements, requesting for proposals (RFPs), service issue escalations and fee negotiations to ensure that all customers for the brands under our remit receivethe best possible service against the best possible price.
  • Taking responsibility for the agent bank / nostro spend across the relationships within their responsibility.
  • Working with internal stakeholders across organisation to understand and support their needs for projects and initiatives.
  • Working closely with your team manager, ensuring compliance with all policies, and delivering against regulatory and legal obligations as well as the management of risks within agreed frameworks and risk appetites.
  • Prior Network Management Experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Correspondent Banking and/or Securities Services industry.
  • A good understanding of the current regulatory landscape and future developments.
  • Previous experience at representing the Bank in relationship meetings.
  • Prior experience of interacting with Senior internal stakeholders.
  • A change & process review mindset.
  • Track record of solving complex issues.
  • Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills.
