As a member of a multidisciplinary (MDT) team duties include: To Work collaboratively with families, nurses, carers and other appropriate Health Care Professionals providing evidence-based Dietetic service to CAMHS Eating Disorder Team, mainly in the Intensive Community Treatment Be involved in the Teams day to day duty system including screening referrals, generic first assessment, and formulation of treatment plans for new patients. Setting up appropriate and comprehensive care plans to support the client through their recovery. Developing clear meal plans for different environments and situations including family and home, in the community or on the paediatric wards To implement these plans, including psychoeducation, running dietetics clinics and following up on patients already on the caseload. Supporting the Team with Professional nutritional input and teaching/training presentations to other Healthcare professionals involved in the care of our Young People with eating disorders.


To Work autonomously to provide an expert nutritional advice service to patients, their carers and families and to other healthcare professional colleagues and those from other agencies, collating highly complex information in relation to both health and social care in relation to Eating Disorders in young people To develop and implement meal plans and provide advice to young people and parents/carers on risks of eating disorders, a variety of dietetic needs and a range of mental health conditions.
