RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY - Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with this heritage retailer & establishment with only 70 years' experience. The business is currently pushing the boundaries within their Retail, Hospitality & Leisureoffering.


The roles & responsibilities of this Operation Manager role -

  • Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all operations of the store.
  • You will be leading a small team within the Bar, Retail & Cafe environment
  • You will running 12 separate units
  • This involves taking responsibility for profit & loss, revenue, stock and service targets.
  • Reporting in the global Head of Operations you will agree & work towards monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash
  • Operation Managers are expected to recruit and manage the team, including performance monitoring, mentoring and training.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels & ensuring that there is good customer satisfaction for all.
  • Plan store layouts to ensure the stores implement the agreed seasonal and promotional plans.
  • Ensure Operation Managers recruit, induct and train their store teams in line with company procedures and programmes.

The requirements of this Operation Manager are -

  • Ideally 3 years experience within a Store Manager, Deputy, Assistant, Team Manager level
  • Ideally people from chain food and beverage, coffee shops, restaurant, cafe, hospitality background.
  • Extensive Store or experience gained for a retail supermarket or convenience background is also of interest.
  • That you have managed different departments/business units with their own P&L or budgets
  • You need to be operating in a leadership capacity and make sure that you have a track record of success recruiting staff and monitoring their performance.
  • Excellent networking skills with other Store Managers, expats, the community.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including peoplemanagement, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be familiar with computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel etc.
  • A right to work in UK is mandatory.
