The role of the Fleet Hire Monitoring Executive will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of claims in accordance to company policies and industry regulations.

To oversee the entire credit hire claims process, ensuring delays and challenges are identified immediately.


What You will do

  • Collaborate with the New Claims and FNOL teams as well insurance companies to negotiate and settle claims in a timely and costeffective manner.
  • Conduct regular audits of claims files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency
  • Analyse claims data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis
  • Understand when to utilise external suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the business with mínimal claims spend
  • Identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement change management initiatives to maximise efficiency and minimise risk
  • Identifying possible risks and implement improvement opportunities to reduce complaints
  • Reduce ongoing credit hire where necessary to ensure settlements are resolved efficiently
  • Minimising financial exposure to incoming credit hire and credit hire repair claims through monitoring ongoing hire

Who you are

  • Significant technical credit hire experience required
  • Good understanding of Insurer RTA obligations, GTA, existing credit hire case law, legal precedent and procedure
  • Liability knowledge including indemnity, reserving, negotiation tactics, fraud and litigation
  • Proven track record of negotiating Credit Hire claims from Cradle to Grave and monitoring own portfolio of claims.
  • Knowledge of the ABI GTA and its implications.
  • Proven ability to make financial and handling decisions to benefit the company
  • Experience in Accident Management, including credit hire.
  • Previous experience working with Engineer reports and Third Party insurers.
  • Proven track record of monitoring credit hire and overseeing FNOL and New Claims.
