Senior Construction Coordinator

Role Context:


The Senior Construction Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe management of all works associated with delivering the project from FEED through to project completion.

Ensuring and maintaining schedule and budget.


The Senior Construction Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the project in a safe manner, working to the highest standards with focus on the impact to the environment and the local communities.

Delivering to the highest standards whilst complying with Worley & client processes and procedures inclusive of country regulatory requirements.


You'll Do:


  • Interface with all disciplines and the client as required during project lifecycle, to ensure Construction input to safe, efficient execution and visibility to budget and schedule is maintained appropriately.
  • Ensure cross learnings and best practice is taken into green energy whilst being innovative and proactive in project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all tasks are to be carried out have been fully risk accessed, and (RAMS) Risk Assessment /Method statements are reviewed, commented on and that all parties are clear on tasks ahead and associated risks.
  • Write /review SOW as required for 3rd parties, contractors and vendors as required
  • Participate and conduct performance management reviews with the Senior Construction Manager.
  • Promote and adhere to Worley & client Safety Management Systems.
  • Schedule and plan all areas of construction scope
  • Accountable for productivity and quality targets established for the scope of work within area of responsibility.
  • Take part in Constructability and Construction readiness reviews.
  • Troubleshoot any constructability issues regarding engineering, material shortages etc.
  • Conduct any incident investigations within area of supervision as required.
  • Ensure MOC is managed appropriately
  • Perform worksite inspections monitoring safety and quality of work.
  • Ensure daily progress reports have been submitted and signed.
  • Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans
  • Monitor workforce productivity and progress relative to schedule
  • Monitor environmental compliance, as required
  • Interface with Project Controls for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
  • Provide onsite support to the Construction Delivery Manager / Construction Site Lead as required
  • Provide support for precommissioning/mechanical completion/systems completion as required

You'll Have:


  • Several years professional level experience in construction/project experience
  • Experience of working/supervising on a Construction site
  • Staff management experience (knowledge transfer)
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong Written and spoken English (other languages helpful)
  • Ability to use MS Office (word, excel, Outlook, Power point) competently
  • Competency in written/oral communication
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to travel as and when required
  • Ability to travel and work on any Worley Europe locations
Desirable:


  • A strong communication, networking, collaboration, and welldeveloped teamworking skills, especially in multidiscipline and multicultural teams.
  • A full knowledge of project specific execution strategies, and the ability to develop them to meet challenging project objectives and deliverables.
  • An 'Incident Free' mindset and be a role model for their project team (Direct/Indirect hires).
  • A proven HSSE and QA/QC leadership in managing and delivering onshore projects.
  • Managed contractors, 3rd parties or vendors previously
  • A full understanding of how all elements of the project scope integrate and interface with each other and are managed to successfully deliver the right project outcome from construction, and through to commissioning and handover to operations.
