6 Month Maternity Cover Editor - DK Knowledge:

DK is a world leader in illustrated non-fiction publishing and our Knowledge division has a great opportunity for an illustrated book editor to work on its varied list, primarily on information books for children aged 9+.

Experience of working with designers to visualise the delivery of information for readers of all ages is an advantage.

As well as being hands-on on the page, this role will also involve managing your own work schedule, some monitoring of budgets, and working with out-of-house resources.

You should have previous experience of integrated, illustrated co-edition publishing. Knowledge of and a keen interest in new publishing media are important. Excellent editorial skills, including structural editing and briefing skills, are essential, along with InDesign skills.

£29,906
