One of Exeter's modern, innovative and forward-thinking law firms are looking for someone with administrative experience to join their team, as a Team Assistant.

Based in the city-centre, this role would suit someone with some element of office administrationexperience, although we don't need experience within the legal sector.

The firm feel that this position plays a really pivotal support function to the fee-earners and the wider team, carrying out a varied set of secretarial and administrative tasks, whilebeing a trusted and included member of the team.

This is a national firm, but with a close-knit team.

Essentially, the firm's objective is to improve the outcomes for every person, business or community that it serves


Responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting the PA with workload, such as marketing administration, systems and general processes
  • File management for the team
  • Ordering office supplies and promotional goods
  • Travel and diary management
  • Printing / scanning / photocopying
  • Answering telephone calls for the team
  • Some billing and finance admin tasks
  • Supporting feeearners with expenses
  • Production of court bundles
  • Ensuring data is accurate on the systems

Skills and experience sought:


  • Previous experience within a legal support role would be a massive advantage for this role
  • Any property law related experience would be an advantage, but not essential
  • An organised approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • A high level of taking responsibility and ownership for tasks
  • A methodical approach with attention to detail

Hours and benefits:


  • Monday to Friday (09:00 17:00)
