About the job:

The Solutions Sales Specialist team is looking for an U.K. Sales Specialist Leader. In this role, you will support Red Hat's strategy to promote the sharing and adoption of our innovative Red Hat technology with our largest accounts. You will enable customers to define, develop, and deploy next generation strategies. As a Manager, you will be responsible for building your sales team. You will enable the Sales Specialists to identify, qualify, and close opportunities proactively to repeat our success in the market and increase our reach. You will be responsible for the success of our Emerging Technologies business in the U.K., while reporting to Country Director for Technical Sales. By working with our customers, the wider sales team, marketing and our ecosystem of partners you will build and grow this important part of our U.K. business.

What you will do:
  • Work in partnership with the Vertical Sales Managers, Technical Sales Director and Country Services Manager to achieve a strong collaborative and clear approach to customer success, both in terms of winning new business and driving adoption of new solutions;
Motivate, coach, and mentor the Sales Specialist team to both grow existing accounts and capture new business throughout the region by developing effective sales strategies to ensure target achievement; Achieve growth targets by establishing sales goals and developing strategies for success; take necessary action to ensure sales targets are achieved and the forecast is accurate on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis; Build and share best practices of selling multiproducts solutions; Collect feedback and work with business units to improve the portfolio efficiency; Contribute to large transformational deals success and account planning; Participate in closing the biggest deals and influencing business initiatives for future success within the region; Play a practical role in the Field Sales team by maintaining a personal presence and being highly visible through direct customer engagements in the field; Work in conjunction with Marketing to develop a thought leadership position in the U.K. for Red Hat's technology and solutions, within key vertical markets; Participate in the UKI (U.K. & Ireland) Management meetings.


What you will bring:

Track record of leadership responsibility with a software sales organization; Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding annual sales targets, in new and emerging technology spaces; Proven experience developing sales organisations that consistently deliver yearoveryear increases in revenue; 5+ years of experience selling specialist solutions; expertise in building sales processes and solutions selling strategies in that specific marketplace; Background as a technologist, architect or working with emerging technologies Ability to act according to Red Hat values; Team spirit and high sense of collaboration with other teams.
