Van Delivery Driver

Location - Bristol / Avonmouth

Pay - £11.00 to £14.00 per hour ( depends on vehicle size )

weekly pay

accumulated holidays

overtime

Our client is recruiting experienced van drivers to join their busy operation delivering white goods.


Working 5 on, 3 off starting between , you will be working as part of a 2 man team delivering white goods across the South West.

Average drops will be 30-40 per day.

You must be able to offer good customer service as it is a very important aspect of the role and be happy to lift items such as fridge freezers, cookers etc.

This may involve carrying them up multiple flights of stairs.

Reliability is key to ensure all deliveries are made daily.


This vacancy is advertised by an Employment Business where you will be engaged as a contractor through a 3rd party.


Responsibilities:


  • Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo as needed.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries

Skills:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate different types of vehicles based on job requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Excellent driving skills and ability to navigate various routes.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy objects and loading/unloading cargo.

Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour
