About the Role


Harrogate High School are seeking to recruit an outstanding and experienced SENCo to join our strong, vibrant staff team to lead our Learning Support & Inclusion provision.

You will work in promoting our culture, ethos and embodying the Trust's vision and values by ensuring the highest standards and expectations in leadership, teaching, learning, behaviour and management, community engagement and resource management.


As an excellent teacher, you will be instrumental in laying the foundation of outstanding standards of education and creating a stimulating and purposeful environment teaching classes and small intervention groups within your provision.

You will be fully supported by an experienced team of peers who share a vision of effective teaching and learning who help each other to continually improve practice.

We have an open-door culture and reflective ethos where we use lesson study to learn from each other regularly.


You will have high expectations, a commitment to raising standards, possess up-to-date knowledge and understanding of learning support and inclusion, with a passion to enhance the learning experience of all our students.

You will have the opportunity to share your expertise with all staff at Harrogate High School through our CPD programmes.

You will also take an active role in achieving our trust wide Sustainability aims.
