We require an energetic, enthusiastic, committed, reliable and sociable Activities Coordinator within our small 19 bedded care home for the elderly in central Taunton.

Ideally you will already have experience within this role, or have the relevant and transferrable skills if not. You will be a great team player but also able to work on your own initiative.

The role includes responsibility for providing a programme of planned and spontaneous activities which are suitable for our clients and offer mental stimulation but above all enjoyment.

You will be involved in providing one to one support as well as leading group activities, and these can involve anything from a physical exercise class to an artistic activity, organising an external entertainer to planning quizzes and everything in between.

This is a lovely part time position that might suit someone with school aged children, or a retired person looking for an interesting and varied role.

The hours are approx 11am to 3pm for 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). Computer literally is also important.
