Description

Our client is looking to recruit a Fitter's Mate to work with our site-based installation engineers installing products across all their product ranges (HVAC / Air Conditioning Units).

This is on a temp to perm basis (permanent after 3 months probation).


Salary - hourly rate of pay is £12.07 per hour.

Working hours - 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, , Fridays , with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Fitters Mate - Duties / Responsibilities:

  • The role will involve some working away.
  • Work with onsite installation teams, usually in pairs fitting air handling units and acoustic products.
  • Provide assistance as required to the lead site engineer.
  • Undertake general labouring duties.
  • Working in the factory will be required when there is a shortage of site work.
  • Any other reasonable request.

Qualifications/Experience required:

-
Experience of labouring on site, preferably in the ventilation industry

Hold a full UK driving license

Hold a valid CSCS card
:

Hold valid IPAF and PASMA certification.

Qualities:

  • Be reliable, punctual and hard working.
  • Be willing to learn.
  • Have the ability to take instruction from others and work using own initiative.
  • Take pride in your work.
  • Health and Safety awareness.


We will consider you for the role if you have experience as a Labourer / General Operative / Production Operative / Manufacturing Operative / Machine Operator / Factory Worker / Assembler / Assembly Operative / Fabrication Operative / Fabricator / Machinist / Process Operator / Factory Worker / Warehouse Assistant / and similar hands-on roles.
