Bristol Zoological Society, the conservation and education charity that runs and operates Wild Place Project and conservation projects across the world, is recruiting a new Facilities Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Facilities Management team to support the Facilities Manager in the management of the Society's varied facilities, including the delivery of a customer focussed, effective and safe site.

This role also requires providing coordination and communication in the unlikely event of any emergencies on site. Occasional lifting and manual handling, movement of stationery and equipment between locations. This will include involvement in the maintenance and upkeep of the recently closed Bristol Zoo.

You should be confident in proactively managing contractors and other external partners and able to provide support on Health and Safety and other legislative compliance.
