Our client in Kent is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team.
As an Inpatient Physiotherapist, your principal responsibilities will be:
To provide and ensure high standards of clinical care for the patients under your management *To provide skilled assessment and treatment of a variety of inpatients - predominantly orthopedic, but also general surgery patients
Deliver face to face assessment and treatment, carrying out appropriate clinical risk assessments and where necessary, onward referral.

To liaise with orthopaedic consultants and nursing team and external agencies as appropriate to best meet the assessed needs of the patient.

To educate, train and advise patients, carers and other relevant healthcare professionals in specific physiotherapeutic management.

To work autonomously, utilising your skills to formulate safe and comprehensive rehabilitation plans, implementing protocol driven rehabilitation where necessary and ensure prompt and safe discharge of patients to their discharge location.

To ensure a tidy and safe working environment, including cleaning, simple maintenance within the physiotherapy department and management / safe storage of equipment.

Experience
Experience of assessing and treating a range of orthopeadic patients/cases
Working with multi-disciplinary teams
Experience of independently managing case loads

Demonstrated Computer Skills
Sound written numerical and verbal communication skills
Planning and organisational skills
Desirables
Private healthcare experience
Post graduate experience as a physiotherapist across a range of specialties
