Description

The Research & Development department at University Hospitals Birmingham has a Band 2 R&D Laboratory Assistant post available, to assist in the provision of a clinical trial services across the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

The post will be based at Heartlands Hospital, processing lab samples for commercial and academic trial patients, with the opportunity to support other aspects of research and development.

This post offers the opportunity to learn about the practicalities of clinical trials delivery, development of clinical skills, such as phlebotomy in accordance with Trust policies and collaboration with clinical teams.
