Credit Control Supervisor

About Our Client:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of credit controllers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the effective management of accounts receivable.
Monitor and manage the aged debtor's ledger, actively pursuing collections and negotiating payment terms when necessary.
Analyse credit risk and recommend credit limits for clients, balancing risk and opportunity.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Generate regular financial reports and provide insights to support decisionmaking.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Continuously improve credit control processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant:

Proven experience in credit control, including experience in a in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Detailoriented with strong analytical skills.
A selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant financial laws and regulations.
