Job Overview
Are you an Executive Assistant looking for a fantastic opportunity to move into a new role which offers real potential for growth and development? To be considered for this role, you will ideally have proven experience working within a similar role and will have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a PA/EA or Business Support role.
What will you be responsible for?
- Be the first point of contact for the CEO, and act as a sounding Board and trusted advisor to the CEO, facilitating and enabling confidential discussions about key corporate matters. You will also represent the CEO and take detailed minutes where the CEO cannot attend.
- Actively plan, organise and monitor the commitments of the CEO, making the best use of resources and opportunities (i.e diary management, video conferences, visits/travel arrangements, arrangements for onsite meetings).
- Build and maintain positive relationships with department heads and colleagues to make decisions regarding operational delivery, budget, implementing changes to operational processes and embed continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain a contact registry for the CEO for key stakeholders and business partners, as well as providing robust cover for the Office Manager such as ensuring all stakeholders and visitors have a positive onsite experience.
- Responsible for confidential administration and drafting and filing sensitive tasks. You will support in adhoc project work and manage i.e. travel in a costeffective manner.
What are we looking for?
Essential
- Proven track record of attention to detail, project management and working to tight deadlines within a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to multitask, acting proactively and reactively to tasks is key.
- Strong IT skills and experienced in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel as a minimum)
- Sociable and personable, with a cando attitude is vital.
- Track record of key corporate services, including Board scheduling, minute taking and action tracking.
- 35 years experience within a PA/EA or Business Support role.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within pharmaceutical/GMP environment would be advantageous.
- Passion for continuous improvement, and keen to embed business improvements.
