Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council employs around 11,000 staff and is one of the largest Councils in Wales.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, accurate and customer focussed payroll service to our employees, managers and schools.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our team as a Senior Finance Assistant in Payroll.

The post holder will be responsible for:

Previous experience of working in a payroll environment would be beneficial for this role but is not essential as training will be provided.

You will be supported in your personal development and have the opportunity to gain industry qualifications as your career progresses.

We currently work on a hybrid model - we are home based for 3 days and attend the office 2 days a week.

Office days are on a set rolling three weekly rota and the team all attend on the same days. Initial training may be full time office based. Offices are based in Oldway House, Porth.
