The Absolute Recruit team are supporting a successful business based in St Albans recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a contract basis.

They would like to bring in someone with strong relevant experience behind them and able to build good workingrelationships in a relatively short period of time.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the role involves business partnering with the Sales & Marketing teams by suggesting future plans and forecasts based on business performance.

You will be expected to give recommendations following in-depth analysisof Supply Chain and Sales factoring both internal and external threats and opportunities.

Although the contract is confirmed for 12 months, there is a strong potential for this project to continue beyond that.


Finance Business Partner responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate commentary and suggestions to help drive business efficiency.
  • Provide Insight to support and influence the team's decisionmaking.
  • Develop plans to meet and exceed Budget P&L targets for the business.
  • Support contract tender negotiations.
  • Provide analysis into Supply Chain and Sales outputs.
  • Support a Junior with training and supporting them to develop their skillset.
  • Build good working relations within the Finance team and the relevant department heads.
  • Any adhoc analysis and responsibilities.

Key competencies:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
  • Strong Business Partnering experience.
  • Exposure to supporting and training junior members.
  • Track record of working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Prioritising conflicting tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong ability to build good relationships.
