Job Summary

An Internet shop specialising in traditional pub games, board games, giant games, table games, casino products, outdoor games etc. A growing small business, Masters Traditional Games has been trading for 24 years.

Job Title:
Temporary Customer Service Assistant and Administrator.

Customer service and admin tasks.

Primary tasks include most of the following:

• Dealing with returns
• Entering invoices
• Possibly Taking orders over the phone.
• Branding games for corporates and marketing companies (usually laser engraving or with stickers)
• Helping with a project to reorganise products in the product database
• Occasionally helping to pack orders
• Potentially other minor adhoc tasks (some trivial, some more complex).

Remuneration

No additional perks beyond statutory which will be allocated on a pro-rata basis. Payment will normally be monthly by BACS. Overtime beyond normal hours will be by agreement and paid at the normal hourly rate.


Job Environment
The office and warehouse is at 227B Hatfield Road, St. Albans, AL1 4TB.


Default Hours

• 5:15 with a 45 minute lunch break. However, some flexibility is available with hours is available.

Job Requirements

• Perfect written and spoken English.
• Evidence of excellent academic achievement e.g. 9 grade at GCSE, A grade at A level or a Degree or some other achievement to demonstrate excellence
• Telephone manner that is articulate, professional, wellspoken and polite
• Very comfortable working with computers. Picks up new software quickly
• Responsible & reliable attitude
• Tenacious when dealing with problems
• Reasonable numeracy
• An interest in board games, pub games and other traditional games (football and computer games do not count)
• A fun and enthusiastic outlook
• Customer Service experience

Pay:
From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
