1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Actual salary - £5,789-£5,878 (Grade B). FTE salary - £20,812-£21,133
Part-time: 12 hours per week, 3 hours per day, 4 days per week. Term time only

Crestwood Community School is one school, with two campuses, serving central Eastleigh.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to undertake the role of Resource Assistant for the Technology Department on our Cherbourg Road Campus.

We are looking for someone who can play an active role in contributing to the already high standards within this department.


The role will involve:

Preparing and assembly of classroom equipment and resources for lessons based on teacher requirements, conducting regular checks of equipment, apparatus and stationery in classrooms ensuring that the required stock levels are maintained and reporting any issues, checking stock levels and ensuring the safe storage of equipment, organising and coordinating resources for lessons such as photocopying and laminating, reporting problems, potential hazards, safety concerns and accidents to the appropriate staff, shopping for/ordering items required for practical work, washing up and weighing out ingredients.

A keen interest in, and passion for, cooking, baking and nutrition is essential.

Experience of working in a similar role or within an education setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
