Description

We are looking for a Medicine Counter Assistant to work in our busy pharmacy. You need to be friendly, able to work efficiently and accurately.

Need to be able to work every Saturday 9am to 12 noon with potential overtime during weekdays or weekends. Necessary training will be provided.

Some of your key roles would be:

• To be the first point of contact for all customers and serve customers appropriately and sensitively.
• To ensure that the pharmacy environment is welcoming, clean and professional.
• To accurately complete financial transactions with customers.
• To answer telephone and deal with customers queries
• To provide the best possible advice to customers and refer them to the pharmacist if appropriate.
• To receive prescriptions from customers and ensure they reach the dispensary in a timely manner.
• To be working towards or have completed an accredited MCA training course under the guidance of the pharmacist.
