The role:

Are you passionate about supporting young people? Do you want to make a difference and improve outcomes for local young people of Warrington?

At Warrington Borough Council, we are deeply committed to giving young people the best start in life.

As such, our Early Help Youth Service, is a vital component in the development and wellbeing of many young people, particularly those who are going through challenges in their home life, education or social environment.

This service enables young people to succeed by providing high quality informal education opportunities to promote their personal and social development.

Underpinned by the concepts of targeted prevention and early intervention in order to deliver help to young people at the earliest possibility - thereby reducing the need for costly specialist intervention at a later date.

You will be based within an integrated locality team working alongside all Early Help services, children's social care and partners.


We have an opportunity for a JNC Qualified Youth Worker to join us and make a tangible difference to at risk and vulnerable young people's lives.

We are a team of dedicated youth workers who work with young people in a variety of settings.

This is a challenging, but highly rewarding job, which will allow you to make a real difference to the lives of young people.

This is a permanent 37 hours a week position including evening and weekend work.


Key dates:

DBS clearance is required.


The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
