The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will have Global responsibility for JLRs sourcing and contract management of critical Raw Materials


Alongside managing suppliers, you will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring that the Global Commodity Strategy and Supply Base Market strategy is effectively deployed throughout Jaguar Land Rover and the external supply chain.

You will have responsibility for pre or post sourcing and contract management activities for your designated commodities and suppliers within your region.


WHAT TO EXPECT

The Role:


We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and professional senior buyers to take global responsibility for direct relationships with Raw Materials supplier.

Responsibilities will include sourcing, contract creation and negotiation and managing all aspects of the supplier partner relationship.

You will lead quarterly business reviews to discuss part level NPI/EOL (New Product Introduction / End of Life), delivery performance and reconciliation and annual price negotiations.

Objectives will be related to agreeing contracts on time to support future vehicle sourcing, ensuring continuity of supply throughout the contract, ensuring that JLR is accessing best-in-class technology, ongoing cost management and maintaining the most effective relationship with the suppliers under their responsibility.


WHAT YOU-LL NEED
**Experience Required

  • Strong analytical skills, ablility to help the company problem solve by breaking down information, looking through data and finding patterns, trends and outliers
  • Excellent communicator who can communicate complex ideas to key stakeholders to influence cross functional alignment.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to present and articulate complex issues in a clear and simplistic visual form
  • An individual who is results driven, has tenacity, drive and perseverance, leading the team to deliver strategic plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.
  • Resilience, energy and enthusiasm, able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs
