GMP Recruitment are partnered with a well-established Electrical lighting company based in Worcester. Our client is looking to add a Production Key Team Leader to their team.

Our client specialises in the manufacturing of bespoke lighting solutions and are an industry leader in the designing and installation of lighting.

They are experiencing fantastic growth at present and are looking to add to their team.

This role is on a full-time, permanent, basis.

Production Key Team Leader main duties:

  • Ensure all manufacturing is carried out in accordance with job sheets, working drawings, specifications and system supplier's fabrication manuals.
  • Ensure all products achieve the highest quality standards in line with the company's quality and ISO procedures ensuring all documentation and labelling etc. is completed and records maintained.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion within the given timescales to meet the required delivery/installation dates.
  • Organise the factory labour resource to meet the demands of the fabrication Programme/department.
  • Ensure all operatives are working efficiently, consistently and to the required performance levels in order to meet the demands of the fabrication programme/department.
  • Attendance meetings or site meetings as required, to report on the operational status of the department.
  • Assist in the further development of the department and the team members.
  • Team Player willing to assist in other areas when required.
  • Attended site for snagging or installation observation.

Production Key Team Leader desired skills and experience:

  • Electrical and prior knowledge of Metal and Fabrication.
  • Working at height
  • Ability to work without supervision with excellent analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Able to motivate, train and lead a team of people
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate targets and expectations to others.
  • Ability to persuade others to achieve their goals, targets and results.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Ability to train others with patience and perseverance.
  • Advanced understanding of the product on offer.
This position will be operating on a Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 17:00pm. There will also be an earlier finish on a Friday of 15:00pm.


For all of the above you will be offered an initial starting salary of up to £35,000 per annum which is dependent on experience, plus additional company benefits.
