Assembly Operative

Our client is a mart leader within Lighting and AV, an exciting new technology business.

We require an Assembly operative to assemble client luminaires and accessories to achieve daily production requirements, and when required, support the warehouse team in receiving, storing, picking and packing goods for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble products to specifications, following defined processes & training
Monitor the production process and carry out testing and quality checks
Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications
Report product, design issues, or working environmental issues to management or directors
Carry out autonomous maintenance of work areas
Pack goods, with protective materials ready for shipment
Contribute to continuous improvement activities
Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Manage components under quarantine
