An opportunity has arisen for a BANK Assistant Radiography Practitioner to join the Radiology Department based at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital and other trust sites.

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the General x-ray department.


An essential requirement is the Completion of the first year of the BSc Hons Radiography Degree or Associate Practitioner Program to Certificate in Higher education level.

Role extension, CPD, KSF and flexible working are actively supported.


The Assistant Radiography Practitioner role is primarily to assist the Radiographers in delivering a quality x-ray service for all users of the Radiology Department.

The successful applicant will be expected to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility in working patterns is required and the ability to multi-task. The role will involve working at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. Previous Radiology Experience is essential.

Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
