The Community Nursing Service is part of Doncaster care group, within the RDaSH Foundation Trust which is absolutely committed to providing high quality services and to supporting its staff to deliver services to the highest standard.

Doncaster Care Group is pleased to be able to offer an exciting development opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated, innovative and experienced Team Leader for the Doncaster Community Nursing team.

You need to be committed to working in the community.

You will need to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, problem solving ability, be able to work as part of a team and be autonomous and courageous in your practice.

The role will involve working to deadlines, dealing with challenging situations, being proactive in service development, self-reliant, approachable and consistent in your approach.


An awareness of the challenges we face within an evolving NHS and the strategic demands and drivers would also be an advantage.


To be responsible for the effective and efficient management and supervision of staff within the team and resources allocated to the team.


To be accountable to the Service Manager for the performance management of the team and for the quality of work provided by the team.

To actively contribute to the overall management of Doncaster Community Services and to ensure the service works to agreed objectives.


You will provide strong leadership to the team to ensure it performs in the most efficient and effective way ensuring all key performance indicators are met whilst providing a safe and high quality service.
